John McAfee arrested in Guatemala
Reuters: Software company owner John McAfee was arrested by police in Guatemala on Wednesday.
Police arrested McAfee for illegally entering Guatemala. McAfee entered the country in an attempt to evade authorities in Belize looking to question him about the murder of his neighbor.

Washington ushers in pot and same-sex marriage
CBS News: Marijuana possession has become legal in Washington state, as has same-sex marriage.
Voters in Washington and Colorado last month made those the first states to decriminalize and regulate the recreational use of marijuana. Washington’s law, which took effect at 12:01 a.m. PST Thursday, allows adults to have up to an ounce of pot, but bans public use of marijuana, which is punishable by a fine, bringing it in line with the law concerning drinking in public.
